Recap: Enter, Pursued by Scarecrow
General Summary
Our champions awaken in a strange building, and are greeted by an even stranger individual- a scarecrow named Shug. This scarecrow bolts as soon as it notices them to notify the captain of the Panbul Guard, Lasmyla, who then escorts the party through the forest and nearby farms to the little town of Panbul. Once there, she leads the group to the mayor, Anmo, and has them registered as champions, before bringing the party to the town's inn, The Slumbering Serpent. The Slumbering Serpent is lively, with a variety of patron's (such as a table of cynocephali playing a card game), and an intimidating naga, the innkeep, Shetleigh- who instantly takes a liking to the party's kijo, Helaith. Lasmyla pays for the party's food and lodging (though Shetleigh proclaims that it is 'on the house' for Helaith), before eventually leaving to escort an unruly drunkard, who had touched Shetleigh without her consent. After eating and talking, the party then relocates to their sleeping quarters, with Flamesworth sleeping in a room with the now-having-returned Shug, McTurner sleeping in a room with Teslen, and Helaith sleeping in Shetleigh's personal quarters...
