Dullahan

Abilities
  • Blind Sense - Without eyes, ears, or other sensory organs, dullahan still have the ability to sense things around them.
  • Devourer of Souls - After killing an enemy, dullahan are able to consume their soul, healing 2d8. Once used, this ability cannot be used until the dullahan takes a short rest.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Head: Dullahan are decapitated, with a gory stump at the top of their neck. Some dullahan keep their heads, and guard them protectively, while others may lose them due to theft, or damage. This is considered the ultimate loss.

Genetics and Reproduction

Reproduction: Though dullahan are originally born, they are infertile, and must be created with necromancy.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Diet: Dullahan are omnivorous, and though they do not have to eat, liquids can give dullahan temporary energy boosts.

Habits: Since dullahan don't have mouths, they tend to drink down liquids and soft foods through the hole in their neck stump- though, this isn't exactly a pretty sight, and dullahan don't usually enjoy being watched doing it.
