There is a place in the Multiverse where all other dimensions are linked, allowing travel to anywhere you wish- if you have the credentials of course. The ancestors of the people who live in The Doorway discovered this place, but they are not the only ones who call it home. Hyperbeasts, higher-dimensional creatures of immense power, are the ones who control The Doorway.
