The Vermin Gods, the Proto-Deitys

In an emptiness cut off from the dark utopia, unimaginable entities drift from the beginning of time, gigantic, eternal and omnipotent. These beings have powers beyond imagination and even the weakest among them can destroy entire worlds or transform them in unimaginable ways. But since you are almost mindless and only react instinctively to external stimuli, they are hardly interested in things outside of their perception. Should any of these beings ever find their way out of their emptiness,, the consequences would be unpredictable and certainly extremely catastrophic. Although the vermin gods are not interested in or even perceive worship, there are always stupid and self-confident individuals who worship these beings or believe that they can use the power of these beings for their own purposes. In most cases these attempts end with the death of these individuals (at best) and a lot of suffering and misery for everyone in the immediate vicinity.
