The Idiot-Box, the Thing from the TV

A mysterious entity supposed to rule a realm beyond televisions (and technical devices that serve a similar purpose). Very few people know about it and their goals and motives are a secret, but they seems to have a great interest in the world outside of there realm. their servants (children?, creatures?) the statics, are quite active in subverting the societies in the dark utopia and manipulating them in the sense of the idiot box. Although the idiot box has no official priesthood or church, there are small cults of film producers and actors who serve it for fame, riches or other reasons. The Idiot Box can change its shape at will, but apparently prefers the shape of a worn plush bunny with an old TV as its head. Their power is tied to the presence of televisions so that they and their servants are rarely seen in rural or wild areas.
