Organizations and Fractions of Goremore

The Council of the New Flesh: A union of the most powerful, richest and most wicked dark beings who claim to rule all of Goremore. That is only partially true, as the Council's influence in the frozen flesh areas, the pathetic twins, and the deeper guts is quite small. In the sick wastelands they have no authority at all. The various members of the council have come to power in a variety of ways, from cunning schemers to hard-working politicians who want to make the dark utopia a little better, everything is represented here. Despite their different motives, the individual members of the Council work surprisingly well together in the event of a threat or a disaster.   Fleshwork Corporation: The Fleshworks Corporation (sometimes also called Flesh Corps for short) is the largest company within Goremore and one of the most important of the dark utopia. The Fleshwork Corporation makes almost everything from simple household items to powerful, flesh-crafted war machines. While the general public thinks the Flesh Corps is just another faceless large corporation, few know that the top executives of the Fleshworks Corporation truly rule Goremore (at least most of it). The council of the new flesh is nothing more than a puppet government to divert attention from the true rulers. The corporation is in a secret competition with the other rulers and powers of the dark utopia and thanks to their secrecy, their wealth and the fact that they also have branches offices around the dark utopie, the Flesh Corps is a power factor that should not be underestimated. Almost nothing is known about the top CEOs and their plans and motives.   Slaughter Studios Inc.: One of the largest media groups in Goremore, Slaughter Studios is not the largest media empire, but has some notoriety in other regions. The story of Slaughter Studios began with a metalhead warrior from Heavy Metal, who had risen to godlike fame and was known only as Saint Slaughter. Bored with the routine and lack of challenges, Saint Slaughter decided to put his vast knowledge of combat and violence to good use and retire. Why and how Saint Slaughter ended up on the sick side of Goremore is unknown and the subject of much debate. Eventually, Saint Slaughter settled in the torn citadel and established the Mayhem Massacre Menagerie, a state-of-the-art, adaptable battle arena for all manner of brutal competitions. As one of the few sources of entertainment in this region of Goremore, the arena quickly gained notoriety, attracting crowds of dark beings of all kinds and contributing significantly to the growth of the torned citadel. As it has grown in fame, the Mayhem Massacre Menagerie has been expanded, upgraded and remodeled over and over again. Soon after, Slaughter Studios and its own transmitter were built to reach a larger audience. The Slaughter Studios themselves have been expanded again and again and enriched with new departments. Nowadays, the program consists of live broadcasts from the Mayhem Massacre Menagerie, local news, various bizarre-surreal, ultra-brutal animated series from the in-house animation studio and some broadcasts on various topics. Incidentally, Slaughter Studios is considered an illegal pirate station in the rest of Goremore and is more or less banned there (thanks to Slaughter Studios' popularity, this is very often overlooked), but its main competitors are media groups from other parts of the dark utopia. Saint Slaughter himself is the de facto second secret ruler of the region (including his own small but powerful cadre of specialists loyal to him) but has shown little ambition beyond leading his growing media empire. Although there is an agreement between Saint Slaughter and the ruler of the torn citadel not to get in each other's way, it is marked by a certain distrust. Slaughter Studios Inc. are always looking for new talent and fresh blood.
