Organizations and Factions of the Twilight-Lands

The Eight: One of the most famous groups that have made a name for themselves in the land in black. The group consists, as the name suggests, of eight dark beings with incomparable fighting power and skills, together strong enough to destroy regular armies. The members see themselves more as a family (whether they are really related to each other is unknown) and are extremely loyal to each other, despite arguments and certain differences of opinion. After their humble beginnings, they are now known for providing their services almost exclusively to the black king himself. When they are not on the road on behalf of the black king, you can hire them for mercenary tasks if you have the necessary money. Since the black king is one of their main clients, they rarely take on assignments that could lead to a conflict with him. But if the price is right, certain rules can be bent or even broken. They have loose connections to Monster Parade and the Exterminators because they occasionally work with these groups.
The Equinox: Even if most of the dark beings of the Twilight Lands have got used to the eternal war between the Land of Black and the Land of White and take it for granted, there are always those who see the war end for one reason or another want. The Equinox are an amalgamation of dark beings from the land of black and the land of white, a kind of rebel group that has set itself the task of finding an end to the eternal war. If the rumors are to be believed, the Equinox was founded (and still run today) by mysterious dark beings which is the offspring of a dark being from the black land and a being from the white land. Such a connection is not only considered by most to be highly improbable (almost impossible) but would also unleash the concentrated wrath of the Black King and the White Queen, so this is surely just an exaggerated legend. Since the rulers of both countries do not approve of their goals, the Equinox are a very cautious and secretive group, no one knows for sure how big the group really is. They work in small cells and do their best to sabotage the machines of eternal war. Their followers and supporters count has been rising steadily lately.
