The Dark Prize

The planet Earth is under constant threat from cosmic powers and unspeakable horrors.   Set in a world based on the writings of H.P. Lovecraft and other horror writers, The Dark Prize is a world which, at first, appears to be identical to the normal, mundane world we all live in. However, lurking just beneath the surface are unspeakable horrors threatening to tear civilization apart. Monsters skulk in the shadows looking for unwary victims. Wizards and conjurors toy with forces beyond their comprehension as they seek to expand their power. Cosmic gods and alien races view the world with envious eyes. However, there are also good men and women who have glimpsed too much of the supernatural and slowly come to ruin.   Do you have the courage to face the ugly truth of reality? Will you try to do some good in the face of absolute, hopeless terror? Will you become too curious and seek after loathsome knowledge which grants you unfathomable power even as it shreds your sanity?   Beware, reader, for truths once learned can never be unlearned.
