Imperial Bureau of Investigation (I.B.I.)

Formed by the paranoid Emperor Erwin, the predecessor to the current emperor Ulrich II, the IBI exists to investigate any strange occurrences within the empire, particularly any threat from within. With so many military forces focused on combating the shadow, the emperor thought it important to devote a force to keep an eye on homeland security.
