Shroughstocke

Shroughstocke is a very low-set chain, in fact a handful of the islands in the chain are half submerged. Some believe Shroughstocke is going to sink soon, but most believe that’s a myth. The population of Shroughstocke is very small, and the few amount of people that live there choose too because of the small population, which has its benefits for some people. Almost all of the towns are built on an elevated surface, there is only one that is built on dry land. There are also a lot of unique trees that can only be found in Shroughstocke, though there is not a lot of land for them to grow on. The preservation of these trees in Shroughstocke is vital, since this is one of their only sources of money.

Geography

Most of the islands in Shroughstocke are somewhat or entirely submerged. Shroughstocke consists of 29 islands. 3 of the islands are completely submerged underwater. 12 of the islands are three fourths submerged, with only a small amount of the land poking out from under the sea. 10 of the islands are half submerged, and only 4 of the islands are on land. On the half-submerged and completely on land islands can house some of the small forests that house the Quercus Frylonic or the Hot Oak trees.

Fauna & Flora

Besides the Hot Oak that Shroughstocke is somewhat known for, there are a few other basic kinds of trees that are found in the small forests of the chain. There isn't much notable fauna besides the trees of Shroughstocke. There is also no fauna on the land of Shroughstocke. There are however, many different kinds of fish which make their homes in the submerged islands of Shroughstocke.

Natural Resources

The most well-known natural resource of Shroughstocke is the blood-red tress of Hot Oak, which gives the wood a unique coloration that can't be found anywhere else. The only other significant natural resource in Shroughstocke are the fish found near the more submerged parts of the island.

History

Shroughstocks was found by a group of people on a group of people on a cruise ship that got lost. No one had any particular interest in living there, so when they got back, they alerted the sultan of the island they came from and eventually word spread. Eventually, a couple hundred people went to live there, and a handful of towns were erected. The town hasn't changed much since when it was found.
Out of the few people that live in Shroughstocks, most of them are antisocial and don't like social interaction, which is why they went to Shroughstocke in the first rate. However, the crime rate is very low across the entire chain. The most common race in the chain is human, with races that are centered around tribes also being common.
