Montcreef

Montcreef is the biggest chain of islands across the entire Crammeoron. It is also the most industrial, many of the most common goods distributed across many islands were originally made in Montcreef. Montcreef consists of about 50 islands all together. There is a large cobblestone road that connects all the islands in Montcreef, called Heaven's Highway. There is also an entire island in Montcreef which has been converted into a fair where anyone can go and set up a tent to sell their goods, called Everyman's Market.

Geography

Montcreef has islands that are closely pack together, but there are many man-made canals that allow large rivers to run through Montcreef. There are also a few man-made lakes, but these can only be found on the coastline of Montcreef. There aren't many mountains, hills, or any other natural areas. However, there are a lot of forests, Heaven's Highway loops around them. Most of these forests have thin and tall trees, and this is where the only fauna can be found in Montcreef.

Fauna & Flora

The only kinds of flora and fauna can be found in the forests of Montcreff and a small amount in the man-made canals. There are many different kinds of deer and rabbits in the forests of Montcreff, as well as a few different species of meese, sloths, bears, foxs and beavers. However, the most common animals found in the forests of Montcreff are monkeys. Orangutans, gorillas, chimpanzees, baboons and others, all make their home in the thin trees of islands.

Natural Resources

There are all kinds of natural resources found across Montcreef. There are a lot of different kinds of wood across the forests of Montcreef, and underneath the earthen shell are some valuable ores, though not comparable to the ones in Skala Skone or Avonstone. The main way Montcreef makes its money through trade. Many unique goods are produced by the many self-run stores in the town, which beckons business from people from around the world.

History

Montcreef was discovered by a band of pirates, who tried claiming it as their own territory but were quickly driven out by warriors who wanted to open up the chain to all of the land. Once the pirates were driven out, the band of warriors, who are now considered heroes in Montcreef, opened up the chain to everyone and went to spread the word about the sheer size of Montcreef. Over the next couple years, people began slowly trickling in, and about a decade later Montcreef became the booming chain everyone now knows.

Montcreef is the most diverse chain in the entire Crammeoron. So many different kinds of races can easily make a home and living in Montcreef. There is not one most common race, there is a very close to equal amount of different races across the entire islands.

There are many statues to the warriors that liberated Montcreef from the band of pirates. Below is a list of the people in the party of five that are now considered heroes in Montcreef:
Wenwan Wittleflock: Wenwan is a halfling who can often been seen wielding his magic shortsword named Mercy. He is still alive and adventuring.
Bruckonned Rawrell: Bruckonned is an orc spellcaster, who weaves his raw magic into many fire-based spells. He retired after the death of his brother at the hands of the pirates.
Byrock Rawrell: Byrock was Bruckonned's brother, and wielded twin longswords named Bonecrush and Facesmash. He was the only one out of the five to die at the hands of the pirates.
Mehkesse Stettlemock: Mehkesse is a yuan-ti druid who teamed up with the party as a mercenary and parted ways right after the pirates were driven out of Montcreff. When not in animal form, he can often be seen wielding a golden mace. He is still working as a mercenary.
Ghimley Frueik: Ghimley is a gnome who wields a greatsword twice his size, which he named Due Diligence. He is also the leader of the group of five, and the one who originally pulled the group together. He is still adventuring.
