Gallanshaw

Gallanshaw is an island chain that has been overtaken by a group of sailors named The Steel Oath. They only let the most legendary of heroes take residence in their island, and have closed it off to absolutely anybody else coming in from the outside. Gallanshaw is also a relatively small island, but it's highly industrial. It is also one of two chains to have one sultan controlling the entire thing. The final thing that is different about Gallanshaw from all other island chains is that it relies completely on frontier justice, there is no law enforcement or military on any of the islands. However its extremely small amount of civilians still make the crime rate low. if any one of the heroes on Gallanshaw are caught committing any crime, they are usually exiled or killed. The sultan of Gallanshaw is also the leader of the Steel Oath, a hobgoblin named Zondreg. There is no head island on Gallanshaw though. The Steel Oath funds Gallanshaw with many of the riches they plunder, due to the very low amount of natural resources in the chain.

Geography

Gallanshaw is a small island chain with lots of tall hills and violent rivers. Most of the islands forests have been cut down to build mansions for the residences of the chain, but there is still a lot of natural beauties from looking out over the high peaks of the chain, which there are a lot of. The islands are spread somewhat far apart, with large cobblestone bridges connecting them together.

Fauna & Flora

There aren't a lot of plants or animals in Gallanshaw due to the industrialization of the chain, but there are a few things worth noting. For one, there are a handful of fish on the coastline of Gallanshaw, a few of them have even been preserved and given special attention to, mainly by the fishers who have made a home there. There are also a decent amount of fruits in some of the small remaining forests of Gallanshaw, though none of them are unique to the island in particular.

History

Gallanshaw was discovered by The Steel Oath, a group of sailors who were looking to find somewhere to make a base, and came across Gallanshaw. They set up their base on one of their islands on Gallanshaw, and after the island became known as the island where some of the strongest sailors on the sea had made a base, other people began looking to join. Most were random nameless pirate crews with big egos, but there were some actual legendary sailors looking to join the island as well. This gave the leader of The Steel Oath, Zondreg, an idea. He would induct some of the most legendary people in the entire Crammoreon in Gallanshaw, making it a paradise for heroes and warriors alike. Soon many warriors which Zondreg found acceptable to be inducted in began joining, and today it has a population of about 300.

Due to the very small population of Gallanshaw, no one has gotten an estimate on the demographic of people who live in Gallanshaw, though almost all of them are rich is some way, most likely from adventures and plundering. The crime rate of Gallanshaw is also particularly low, mostly because any crime results in banishment from the chain, which is a very embarrassing to a lot of people.
