How Dates Work

The official world calendar is a combination of two different calendars: one created by Vezeat monks in 2012, and another created by Diquins in 532. These would be combined in The Official Calendar Conference near Lake Yeramdon in 3732. Before this conference, the Diquin calendar was used by those in the central, northeast, and central east areas of the world. The Vezeat calendar’s usage stretched from modern-day Imedo to Abaledia.   Our current calendar is a Lunisolar system with twelve months:   Unember, Biember, Triember, Quanember, Pentember, Hexember, September, Octember, November, December, Hendecember, and Dodecember. The months alternate between having 30 days and 31 days. That means that Unember, Triember, Pentember, September, November, and Hendecember all have 31 days. The other months all have 30 days. The months are broken up into six day long weeks. The days of the week are Wingday, Finday, Clawday, Scaleday, and Webday. There are 61 weeks, and 366 days in a year.
