Shörhelm
Though Ostermark is the largest region of Kör, it is one of the least habitable. The lowlands south of the river Surtre are awash with gullies and steep cliffs, and the south-eastern coast is dominated by a long stretch of shallow fjords. Needless to say, most of the inhabited parts of the region exist in the northern highlands. The weather conditions are no less difficult, due to the proximity to Lake Weissa, but the ground is more purchasable and better for growing livestock. The greatest city of Ostermark is Shörhelm, surrounded by tall, thick walls to protect as much from the wind as from invaders. Once an established centre of livestock and a place of pilgrimage for the Skal, it is now a thriving industrial town given the natural deposits of coal and natural gas readily available in the hills just south of the city. With increased industrialisation across Veligskör, fossil fuel production has grown to an all-time high, significantly boosting the city's economy, as well as the influence of its Electorate Lords from Clan Meuggen.
