Tannhauser Industries is a global technology conglomerate. Originally just Tannhauser Instruments, a budding medical tech lab in Tarbach. In 2459, Tannhauser pioneered Subdermal Armour, and eventually successfully installed it in a human. This kickstarted what is now referred to as the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Now at the forefront of a skyrocketing industry, Tannhauser Instruments was able to use its newly amassed assets to branch out into other fields. Reincorporated as Tannhauser Industries, they established several subsidiaries that have become mainstays in the Emberleaf Republic's daily life.

History
Tannhauser Instruments implanted the first successful set of subdermal armour into a human in 2459. Ever since, they've been at the forefront of technological development. In 2460, their defence subsidiary GURA invented mounted high-energy laser turrets.
