Kerrigan Arms was founded in the Emberleaf Republic in 2072 and quickly rose to prominence with the release of their flagship sidearm, the P80. This lightweight, cheap polymer-framed pistol proved to be reliable and easy to handle. It was quickly adopted by police forces and government intelligence services across the continent. Many experts claim that Kerrigan Arms' P80 was directly responsible for the near-demise of Osterdhen Inventions, whose iconic VBD pistol they replaced. Osterdhen had put much of their efforts into the pistol and others of its kind. These business losses would force Osterdhen to modernise the company. Kerrigan Arms didn't handle the switch to caseless ammunition well, and with the introduction of Shutz Gun Co to the Eldureian civilian market in the 2270s, who offered higher quality weapons and lower costs, the company folded.
