Tenthborn - Halfborn

First mistaken as an influx of Firstborn  and Fourthborn  mixed blood, they take features from both Borns  but have shown to be an entirely new race. Deceptively average in every way, Tenthborn are a head or two taller than Fourthborn but are much slimmer but not thin like that of the Firstborn. They have pointed ears but are slightly rounded at the tips and they only have some grace and strength naturally. Though this seems to translate regularly as needing less resources and rest to survive than other races.   Pureblood
  • +1 Dexterity +1 Strength
  • Beating Slow: A pureblood's metabolism is rather tuned to be easy going even in the most dire of situations. When rendered incapacitated by reaching zero health points they can still crawl half their movement, and may take their turn as normal, but can not cast a cantrip or spell, or make an attack action. They also do not have to take a death saving throw until (Proficiency Modifier) turns.
  • Moment of Focus: A Tenthborn pureblood can at the expense of their Beating Slow ability for the remainder of a combat encounter can focus within themselves to instead speed up. For up to (Dexterity Modifier or Strength Modifier) turns the pureblood can take an additional action or bonus action so long as it is not the same action or bonus action they took in the same turn.  For every turn this is used past (Proficiency Modifier) turns, the pureblood incurs one point of exhaustion.
  Halfblood
  • +1 Dexterity
  • Still the Heart: A halfblood Tenthborn certainly lacks the emphasis of control to such an extreme degree as pureblood however they still pull on their half. A halfblood can (Proficiency Modifier) times add their (Dexterity Modifier or Strength Modifier) to any opposite attribute roll, able to focus and take the extra accuracy or strength needed for a great feat. This can also be used for damage rolls of a physical weapon.
  • Tempered Life: A halfblood also may add their proficiency modifier on top of all other modifiers to the appropriate roll or DC when avoiding being detected, or if attempting to appear dead with a disguise check, adding their (Dexterity Modifier + Proficiency Modifier) to the roll. If attempting to appear dead and looked at by magical means the DC for the spell caster would be (8 + Dexterity Modifier or Strength Modifier + Proficiency Modifier).
