The Conjured Lands

2545 Years of Prosperity

The Conjured Lands were created long ago when the Gods, in competition with each other, destroyed the life and lands each had created. When nothing remained but death and rubble, they vowed to never interfere with each other’s worlds and to create one together so there would be nothing to be in competition over.   They sculpted and gave life to a new world, each sequestering only a small spot of land to make in their images. Once complete, they let the lands flourish and watched as their creations built cities and shaped lands of their own.   Unfortunately, for the eternal life of a god, this can quite boring. Unbeknownst to each other, they created heroes and seeded them among the rest of their creations to rise above the rest. They were aware of what they had done only when their heroes had amassed greatness and erected temples to their respective god. It seemed a new cycle had begun.   Fearing they would destroy yet another world, they took another vow to interfere no more. They had done enough and though they could not erase what was already done, they would at least watch to see which of the heroes became the greatest. After all, the gods need to have a little fun...
