Aleisters Bride (Main Page)

Aleisters Bride began in the winter of 2013 as a death metal band. Later, the project was scrapped and it became the plot of a conceptual CD.   Aleisters Bride follows the story of a man whose bride is violently murdered the night before their wedding by a jealous necromancer. Seeking the young bride for himself, Aleister sends forth his unholy servants to fetch her. The girl is torn apart by his gargoyles in the process and they deliver her lifeless corpse to his tower. Aleister is repulsed, and considers throwing her remains out the window for the wolves to feed on, but then decides to attempt to reanimate her.   As much of her body was beyond repair and horribly mangled, he has to use a variety of parts and the final result is monstrous in nature. Having no memory of her previous life, the bride accepts her new place in the world without question.   As time passes, the bride, begins to develop a stronger personality and becomes rebellious after noticing her undead nature. Questions start to form in her mind and nothing seems to make sense. Meanwhile rumors of a mysterious maiden that resembles his ill fated lover, being seen in the windows of the tower at night begin to reach Edgar, her true husband, and he sets out to find out if his love could still be alive.   Edgar instantly sees the maiden in the window and recognizes his lost love upon arriving at the tower. He calls out to her, but she doesn't respond. Confused, Edgar attempts to gain entry to the tower and is met by the Necromancer, who feigning ignorance, spins a tale of a ghostly woman who haunts the halls.   The Necromancer invites Edgar to stay the night and rest before setting out and he gracefully accepts his hosts invitations. This would prove to be a mistake, as Edgar awakes in chains, prisoner to the same man who had murdered his wife.   The necromancer confesses his sins to Edgar and mentions the bride has become rebellious. Believing that Edgar is the key to her acceptance of him, so he comes up with a plan to kill him and take his body for his own.   He introduces them, Edgar under the pretense of a strange suitor, and the two begin to come to terms with their existence and the past they left behind. Chaos ensues when the story comes to a climax.     The album never received a name, but was recorded as a twelve track release.   Included Track Titles:   The Bride Awakens Lazarus Of Salt and Sulpher The Grand Architect
