History & Usage

Everyday use

It is used in everyday life in a lot of ways, as it is used in a lot of scenarios that do not need any specific characteristics. It is used mostly in gears, protection, circuits bases, windshields, cooling systems, etc.

Refinement

When extracted, the material comes combined with oxygen, as Ho²O⁷. It then has to be processed to convert it in a simple oxide, as HoO². Then it can be sold.

Reusability & Recycling

As it is very flexible and reusable, in places like Yaith shipbreakers use it to make better products with good quality.

Medium. It can be found in most of the planets where volcanic activity was active, at least if it was in the ast. Sometimes it is found in deep caves or under meters of hard rock.
