Federation of Independent Systems
The FIS was purposed in the year 212 by the planet Kurwa.
No laboral laws
No slave protection or ban
No interdiction in local commerce or trade
Fully monetary help in further individual needs
No colonies or occupation laws
Very low taxes in most cases
This kind of laws were hated by some weak members of The Alliance, as they left it and joined FIS. Less than a decade later, FIS already had 10 members and two colonies.
As tensions grew up between FIS members and The Alliance members, some of them and other external worlds decided to create a third coalition, called The Trade Federation, which first objective was to prevent a war and help both alliances to end the conflict into a peaceful way instead of a war, as it was clearly imminent. They failed, and when the First War was taking shape, ideas started to grow. Some members wanted to join The Alliance and other wanted to join the FIS.
Origin
As The Alliance started declining join requests because of worlds being weak, distant, extremely different or even just a bit of racism. The Planet Kurwa and Linhn decided to create their own democracy but with some differences, as:The Saab Space
It was created during the First War by planets of the Trade Federation that shared ideas with the FIS, and so The Saab Space was born, a subsidiary of FIS.
