We all know it. The Prophecy. The terrible curse the last member of the imperial line was able to utter before their deaths. The one that has sparked the Elantiens' never ending hope of a return of their terrible empire. The one that has been looming over us all this time, inescapable danger that we can never afford to forget.
A once mighty empire burnt to ashes

Never forget! Always remember!
The emperors ruled everyone with a bloody iron fist, even their own people! Their will was law, and they decided everything without consulting anyone and were the only ones to ever benefit from their actions. This is still the way of the Elantian lords today!
The despicable Elantiens conquered the entire continent! They insulted us, submitted us, and enslaved us. They bonded our magic, destroyed our culture, and obliterated our city.
The wicked Elantiens killed our husbands and sons on the battlefields, they murdered all inhabitants of the cities standing against them, and they massacred all regions hiding any rebels.
As If all of this was not enough, the evil Elantiens then kidnapped our children, forced terrible magics upon them, and made them the subjects of their horrifying experiments.
Let us not forget that our salvation only came from their own hubris, when their terrible experiments finally turned back against them and literally ate them!
A thousand years ago, there was very little we could do to stand against them. But since then, the Elantiens have been brought low, and for a thousand years we have stood guard and made sure they stayed there! Let us not falter now that the most credible attempt yet is being made to revive the empire! For a thousand years we have thrived and prospered! We have created a world full of beauty and peace! Let us kill the monster in the egg before he can rise to destroy all of this!
Let us come together and rise to face this ignoble threat!
