Extreme outer pressure

for some reason, there is unfathomably strong pressure on the outer shell of the city, this causes the shell to warp, the warping is slow but getting faster as the integrity fails, some theorize that the reason for this is that the city is located underwater and this is reenforced by the fact that there are pipes running throughout the city with water in them from an unknown source.

Features

Quaking

the pressure that is put upon the outer shell, regardless of it's source, causes violent tremors, these tremors are more violent the higher you go to the upper levels of the city. although deaths are infrequent from these quakes they are getting more and more common. normally these quakes are seen as good omens as they are the precursors to increased water runoff but as the quakes have been increasing the runoff has been decreasing, even though quakes tend to signal an immediate increase in runoff.

Runoff(Water)

there appears to be a fair amount of water in the city, although it does not appear to leak through the outer shell it could be that it is transferred inside the city through the sewers to releive presssure on the shell. whatever reason there is it is the sole reason the taxzord are alive.

Warping of the outer shell

nobody has even managed on scratching the outer shell, but something has constantly been warping it for the cities entire existance the extreme pressure on the shell is causing there to be less and less space between the topmost and bottommost levels effectively flattening the city. the security seem to be spending massive amounts of time building as much support around the inside shell of the city as possible but nothing they do can even slow the warping down. nobody knows how much the shell can take before it bursts, but one thing is for sure, the warping is'nt slowing down, it's only getting faster, once it bursts one thing is for sure. whatever's causing the pressure will destroy the city.
