Faströnd

Faströnd was once famous for the endless convoys of merchants ships carrying exotic goods from the south and the lumber carts riding to Fyr-Elfhafen to provide raw materials for every craftsmen and shipwright in the city. Now it is a desolate place, as the trade to the city has almost stopped, and the roads and tides are filled with bandits and monsters hiding behind every tree and wave.

Geography

Stretching from the cliffs that separate The Hollow Peaks from the sea, to the cliffs west of the The Scarlet Pillars, the Wooden Coast is known for the several fishing villages and harbors it contains.
If one was to ask any elder along this coast, it would not be strange to hearthat before the destruction of Fyr-Elfhafen, it was impossible to travel along Faströnd without sighting a single merchant ship. With several small capes and bays, it became necessary to build several lighthouses along the coast, as to prevent shipwrecks of precious cargo.
Although most of Faströnd north of Fyr-Elfhafen is covered by the Eternal Forest, some small villages rise and fall along the coast, close to the few lighthouses that still remain standing. South of Fyr-Elfhafen, the coast is clearer, filled with bigger population centers, the biggest one being Blackwood, only separated by long beaches and the occasional cliff.
