The Stoneguards
Known to be the eldest family of the Dwarven race, the Stoneguards were the very first individuals to hone and craft their skills as Stonecutters. Utilizing the ancient techniques of runic knowledge and craftsmanship from the former giantkin technology that they discovered, they've remained a prominent figure in history for developing one of the earliest developed civilizations in Iberia. Known for their fine craftsmanship, they are often scouted as blacksmiths, artesian work, etc. While it is improbable to hire one of them directly for their work, they will certainly go out of their way to undertake tasks that are intriguing to them, and beneficial to their society.
Despite the events of the Fell Star incident, they've managed to retreat to the underground depths of the mined region of the Antrum Mountains for safety. By expanding the already mined area, they've repurposed it into a stronghold worthy of housing the remaining surviving dwarves and other local races that remain in the region.
