The Iridescent One
Taking on the shape of a chromatic dragon, the Iridescent One is a divine entity propelled by an insatiable ambition of conquest. Its influence once extended to every corner of the material plane, though it has waned in its absence.
The Iridescent One birthed a spectrum of colored dragons from its very essence. Each hue of color reflects the boundless power of their divine progenitor. These dragons were not only endowed with radiant scales impervious to most weapons, but also were graced with mystical abilities. Some could rival some of the existing abilities of divines that roamed the very land. They would reign supreme over most lifeforms in Iberia for a sizable period during the Age of Divinity.
The dragons held a steadfast conviction that beings outside its kind were considered as servants, existing solely to satisfy every impulsive whim and desire they had. They firmly asserted authority over other life forms through various forms of cruelity, oppression, and/or manulpation.
United harmoniously by their shared destiny underneath the Iridescent One, they embarked on a singular mission: the conquest of the sprawling lands of Iberia.
Later, they engaged in an unending conflict against the divine being known as Titan and its formidable offspring, the Giants. Struggling for control of the remaining available lands, the two factions shattered the lands and their inhabitants, resulting in massive catastrophes and cataclysmic events that persists within the land to this very day.
Disappearance of the Iridescent One
In a cataclysmic clash of divinities, the Iridescent One and the mighty Titan engaged in a battle that shook the heavens themselves. In a blinding blaze of kaleidoscopic light erupting from their conflict, the Iridescent One vanished from sight, and the Titan, weary from the battle, went to an eternal slumber. All that remained in the aftermath of the Iridescent One were faint echoes of their once-omnipotent presence; only embers of their influence lingered. Without their divine guidance, the colored dragons found themselves lost, thrusted into an era rife with turmoil and discord among themselves. Deprived of their deity's presence, the dragons persisted in their belief in their divine birthright of conquest, even against one another. They engaged in clashes for dominance amongst themselves. With each faction relentlessly striving to claim the throne left vacant by their vanished deity, the once-unified realms of dragons are now teemed with strife and conflict. The return of the Iridescent One remains as an elusive hope for the most devout of their followers, leaving the remaining ones to pursue their unbridled ambitions unchecked.
