The Seventh Layer of Heaven
Also known as "The Boundry," The Seventh Heaven is the lowest and most expansive region of all of Heaven. It is the Layer of Heaven that makes the most contact with the Material Plane. They serve as the final boundary standing between the Material Plane and the plane of Heaven. Individuals that make it through this plane are greeted by an expansive of pleasant expanse lesser angels who live there, and the Gatekeepers of Heaven who prevent any further entry onward. Angels of these layers conform to the beliefs of their higher-tier angelic beings. Performing their sacred duty and tasks, they act as Heaven's serviceable layer in the name of all that is divinely good. Often meddling in the matters of the material plane's affairs, the Seventh Heaven possesses a litany of individual angels who serve higher angels that aim to intact their own unique beliefs unto the Material Plane. This leads to circumstantial events where angels may descend onto the planet for a temporary occasion, whether to wage war, enact Heaven's Order, or simply protect humanity from demonic corruption. By safeguarding the souls and protecting them from the corruption of those who serve the Malestrom, Hell, and Abbadon planes, they are able to continue the cycle of rebirth and continue to ensure a steady flow of "good" aligned souls onto the Soul Stream. Those who serve their life as a good-aligned soul, are rumored to be given the opportunity to serve as an angel in Heaven. However, those that are unable to are re-sent into the cycle once more, fated to rejoin their fellow humanity onto the planet of Iberia. All Layers of Heaven are governed by a Steward, an Angel who is tasked with overseeing and organizing. They serve as authorities who concern their respective levels and bear great authority within the lands. Even Lawful Gods that remain in the regions grant them deference to their Layer of Heaven, even when they are of a higher being or power. Serving the Seventh Heaven is the Steward Auriel, an Angel prides herself as a defender of humanity, Gatekeeper of the Boundry, and the one of the most revered Angels on Iberia due to their active stance to helping Humanity against Heaven's greatest foes.
