Abilities

abilities are learnable skills that require Power Points to use. Most abilities can be obtained from adventures, quests, etc. Players start with no abilities, and gain them as they play.   Note: it is possible for a character to use an ability that costs more Power than they have at a given moment. Such an event causes the character to over exert themselves, and either pass out or become unable to move.   List of abilities   Steal - Cost: 1 Power Steals a random item from a target.   Enemy Detection - Cost: 1 Allows the user to sense hostiles using "Radar-like" pings.   Appraisal - Cost: 1 Gives the user information about an object.   Lurk - Cost: 1 Let's the user lurk in the shadows for a small amount of time and escape from danger.   Lock - Cost: 1 Allows the user to lock or seal any object.   Unlock - Cost: 1 Allows the user to open up any lock or unseal a place.   Telekinesis - Cost: 1 Allows user to move objects mentally.   Purification - Cost: 1 Allows a user to purify liquids.   Farsight - Cost: 1 Allows a user to see far into the distance. Also gives the user night vision.   Decoy - Cost: 1 Attracts the attention of monsters.   Drain Touch - Cost: 1 Absorbs or gives strength and stamina to or from the user.   Nature's beauty - Cost: 1 Sprays small water fountains and creates miniature rainbows.   Ankle Snare - Cost: 1 Summons a vine that wraps around an opponents leg.   Tinder - Cost: 1 Conjures a small blaze in the user's hands. It is too weak to directly harm enemies.   Create Water - Cost: 1 Shoots a jet of water to soak the target.   Create Earth - Cost: 1 Generates a pile of dirt which can be thrown to confuse enemies.   Wind Breath - Cost: 1 Summons a gust of wind which can redirect small projectiles.   Freeze - Cost: 1 Creates an expanding sheet of ice from any water source, including atmospheric moisture.   Lightning - Cost: 1 Create a small channel of electricity.   Blade of Wind - Cost: 1 Create a thin, concentrated blade of air that can be thrown at an opponent.   Blood Arc - Cost: 2 Allows the user to throw a long curved arc of their own blood as a weapon.   Cyclone - Cost: 2 Creates concentrated blades of air in small spiraling whirlwind outward from the user.   Fireball - Cost: 2 Create a round flaming object able to throw to the opponent.   Freeze Gust - Cost: 2 Freezes a wide area.   Friend shield - Cost: 2 Summons a shield to protects an ally from an attack.   Wind Curtain - Cost: 2 Summons a gust of wind to act as a protective barrier.   Enhance - Cost: 2 Temporarily gives a living target exceptional strength and reflexes.   Skill Bind - Cost: 2 Prevents an enemy from using spells.   Bind - Cost: 2 Summons ropes that tie an enemy.   Silent - Cost: 2 Prevents a target from making any noise.   Light of Reflection - Cost: 2 Makes the user temporarily invisible.   Disguise - Cost: 2 Allows the user to take on the appearance of a similarly sized object or person.   Regeneration - Cost: 2 Causes the user's body to heal itself faster than normal for a few seconds.   Arachnae venom - Cost: 2 Expells a thin, high-speed needle of acidic venom from the user's palm.   Flash - Cost: 2 A spell that can create a bright flashes that blind the opponent.   Tornado - Cost: 2 Sends a small whirlwind spinning toward a target.   Control of Weather - Cost: 2 Allows the user to change the current weather.   Aphrodisia - Cost: 2 Causes the target to be mildly turned on.   Lightning Strike - Cost: 2 Allows the user to create a concentrated blast of electricity.   Cleanse - Cost: 2 Allows the user to purify undead or unholy targets.   Crystal Spikes - Cost: 2 Causes spikes of purple crystal to break up from the ground in a line away from the user.   Saitama - Cost: 3 Power Wraps the user's hand and forearm in energy that can explode on solid impact.   Sleep - Cost: 3 Power An spell which quietly puts a target to sleep. Victims rarely realize they have been affected.   Paralyze - Cost: 3 Makes a person unable to move.   Light of Saber - Cost: 3 Generates a lightning-based plasma curved edge blade able to slice almost anything.   Teleport - Cost: 3 Instantaneously transports the user to a far away location. Can be used on other targets.   Undead King's Hand - Cost: 3 Gives debilitating debuffs on target with a physical touch. Type of debuff is random   Freeze Bind - Cost: 3 allows the user to trap an opponent with ice.   Magic Canceller - Cost: 3 Causes a user to be unable to use spells.   Inferno - Cost: 3 A spell that can create large blasts of fire.   Earthshaker - Cost: 3 A powerful spell that shakes an entire area.   Recollection - Cost: 4 Causes a user's memory to manifest as copy of them for a short period of time.   Resurrection - Cost: 4 Allows the user to bring a fallen target back from the dead. Only works for a short time after the target has died.   Energy Ignition - Cost: 4 Allows the user to cause an nearby object to explode.   Bottomless Swamp - Cost: 4 Allows the user to create a purple "bottomless" marsh in front of them. Anyone that comes in contact with it sinks.   Crystal Prison - Cost: 5 Allows the user to encase victims in ice.   Full revival - Cost: 6 Allows the user to resurrect a person to full health.   Explosion - Cost: 6 Allows the user to summon forth a devastatingly large incendiary detonation.
