Suna

The castle’s currency

Precious metals are such a common occurrence in the castle that coins themselves have become defunct, leading to a rise in another type of currency, the Suna. Suna are a rare shell that occasionally wash up against windows or other openings in the castle, and can be collected by breaking the seal and flooding the room with water. As the shark people and other dangerous sea creatures often enter through these openings, collecting Suna can be a dangerous job, and many a lucid dream has awoken, deprived of their memories, after attempting to collect a few Suna.
