"Deshi, short for Xanledeshi, are a variety of dwarf who has been corrupted by greed and ambition. After the gods condemned the slowly changing dwarves to the Cage and they retreated underground, some dwarves abandoned their role as smiths and builders and instead decided to pursue slave trade, since there was much more profit to be had and the Drow had a high demand for them. The Drow and Deshi hold a mutual but begrudging respect for each other, which would clue one in one their typical nature. Deshi have a demonic look to them, implying their infernal nature. Like the Drow, they are ruthless and cruel, not stopping for any sort of guilt or mercy.

Reproduce and mature like humans. Can breed with other dwarves, which will create either an Odahlian or a Deshi, not a cross breed.
