Beckinsdale
Beckinsdale was once a small fiefdom under the rule of a Tarhun lord. It wasn’t very significant, but was in the warpath of the invading Arguans. The castle was razed and destroyed during a battle and is now in ruins.
Government
Total control by the lord. Peasants and serfs work nearby fields while craftsmen work in the village. All are taxed and laws included things like curfews, specific punishments for theivery, murder or blasphemy.

Ballistae, crossbows, machicolations, towers, moat, draw bridges and walls.

Make most their money off of grain and bread.
Infrastructure
The town is surrounded by a stone wall and the castle is propped up on higher ground with a crevasse in between it and the town.

History
Beckinsdale was founded by the great grandfather of the last lord. The land was given to him by the Tarhunian king to cultivate and support the ever growing populus in the cities.

Located in a large plain with two streams and a river running through, allowing for large amounts of farm land.
