Pale the Masked God

Pale is the god of empathy of the unwanted, unloved and forgotten. They are also a lesser god of thieves, assassins and criminals who turned to the life of crime out of necessity and to survive. Pale resembles a long limbed pale humanoid wearing a mirrored mask hiding there identity, they are also clothed in a heavy black cloak hiding there form. Pale is a recent divine they seamed to have slipped into the realm, it is unknown how. Now they are largely worshipped by the poor and suffering, the serfs, servants and the huddled masses.   The most well known of Pales saints is The Vagrant King an individual who gave their wealth, their possessions, his honor and pride to his people the starving poor beggar, to the courtesans etc. To enrich everyone's lives' for the better. He died a old poor man but a man that was loved and supported by his people.   Rumors: It is rumored that there is a sect of Pales followers known as the Mercy Bringers who travel around answering the calls and prayers of the terminally sick and with chronic and unbearable pain. The Mercy Bringers end the pain and suffering by painlessly ending the lives' of those that desire death over suffering. It is said that at times pale answers these prayers and painlessly sends the needful to there afterlife.

Pale believes in natural sympathy and that all creatures should care for the well being of another. That all creatures, all beings are worthy of empathy and should be treated as such. From the lowest beggar to the highest king no one deserves anymore or less then another and all deserve empathy, respect and decency.
