Gathering / Conference
The American election of 1804 begins with Jefferson going for his second term as a democratic republican. Hamilton runs against him leading a vicious campaign displaying the deceased George Washington’s federalist ideology in the book “Letters from the liberator.” At this time Hamilton’s followers spread information about Hamilton’s role in defending the US constitution and criticism of the “Articles of Confederation”. The election was very close, but Hamilton with all the support he had amassed won and became the 4th President of the Untied States with Aaron Burr as his Vice. Hamilton first focussed on better relations with the United Kingdom, in line with the Federalist platform and begins brokering trade deals across the Atlantic to the new French Empire and the United Kingdom staying neutral in the conflict .
