Aether

God of void Aether (a.k.a. The primordial of creation)

Aether, the god of the void, was said to be the first being to ever exist. He was a primordial deity, with the power to create and manipulate the cosmos itself. His vast intellect and wisdom were unmatched, and he was revered as the ultimate source of enlightenment. But despite his great power, Aether was not a vengeful or cruel god. He believed in balance and harmony, and used his magic to maintain the natural order of the universe. However, when his creations strayed too far from the path of righteousness, he was not afraid to wield his power and bring them back into line. Some whispered that his true purpose was to guide all beings towards enlightenment, and that one day, he would return to lead them into a new age of understanding.

Divine Domains

The celestial planes are believed to be realms of great power and enlightenment, where the souls of the devout are able to transcend and join the gods in their cosmic domain. These planes are said to be located beyond the veil of the mortal world, and can only be accessed through death or great spiritual attainment. The most highly revered celestial plane is known as the Cosmos, where the soul is said to be able to merge with the infinite expanse of the universe itself, becoming one with the stars and the void.

Personal history

Aether, the first primordial being, was the source of all existence in the cosmos. He was a being of pure energy, his body made up of swirling galaxies and swirling streams of light. For eons, he floated through the void, observing and contemplating the creation of the universe.
One day, as he drifted through the darkness, he encountered Umbra, the god of darkness and shadow. Umbra was intrigued by Aether, and the two began to converse. Despite their opposing natures, they found common ground in their desire to understand the mysteries of the cosmos.
Together, they delved into the depths of space, exploring the farthest reaches of the universe and seeking out new worlds to discover. They encountered many wonders and dangers along the way, but they always remained united in their quest for knowledge.
As they journeyed, they came to understand that their opposing forces were not at odds, but rather complemented each other. They realized that the balance between light and darkness, energy and shadow, was what allowed the universe to exist.
But they were not the only powerful beings in the cosmos, there was also The Great Devourer was a being of pure chaos, who sought only to wreak havoc on the cosmos. It consumed everything in its path, leaving nothing but destruction in its wake. The other gods were powerless to stop it, and it seemed as though the Devourer would consume the entire universe.
Aether, the primordial god of the cosmos, and Umbra, the primordial god of darkness, knew they had to act. They worked together to craft a plan to defeat the Devourer and save the universe. Together, they harnessed the power of the stars and the shadows, using their combined magic to bind the Devourer and trap it in a realm of their creation. They called this realm the Chasm of Chaos, a prison meant to hold the Great Devourer for all eternity.
The Devourer raged and struggled against its bonds, but it was no match for the combined might of Aether and Umbra. It was trapped in the Chasm of Chaos, unable to escape or cause any more destruction.
