The Wet Season

Arad, an almost entirely dry continent, sees little in the way of rain say for the wet season. Lasting six months, it sees the coming of rain in bursts. Though downpours are still rare occurrences, they arrive more frequently in this time of year and thus plants grow in greater number and with greater strength, the Meleatte River flows stronger and watering holes manifest throughout the Meleatte Desert. The end of the wet season sees the arrival of the Gold-Coming festival when the ichor is harvested in its greatest number, following which the dry season arrives.
