Queen, King, Mistress, or Consort

A'Viltrians, Tuhntians, and Rheans cannot reproduce successfully unless they are a one and a six* pairing, which there are few of, meaning that ones and sixes are highly prized and constantly copulating.
All Queens must be sixes, but not necessarily (though usually due to the culture of Queendom and Ladydom) feminine.
Kings/Mistresses/Consorts must be ones and may identify as masculine, feminine, or nonbinary (respectively).
*There are six physical sexes for A'Viltrians, Tuhntians, Rheans, and some Udonians which are designated by the number of ridges on the crest of the pelvis. Sex and gender have exactly nothing to do with each other.

Career Progression

Ones will chose to opt into becoming a King/Mistress/ or Consort if they wish, but there's not a lot of competition for that job because it's awfully unfun. Queens jobs, however, are highly competitive, most sixes wish to be Queens and call themselves "Ladies". They frequently kill each other and even their Queens in horrible ways for the honor of being a Queen.
