The Mundane Sector

At first glance, the name Mundane seems like the last place you want to be, but after walking inside you would be completely wrong. This sector is filled with machines so advanced that it would be impossible to understand the underlying technology by just observing. This is the scientific sector of the divisions. They research and design technology to use in the field and internally. The people in white lab coats give that impression immediately. Blueprints decorate the walls and the sounds of science can be heard all around. 
Along with the advanced technology there are also areas dedicated to to the simplesit of creations. It surprises you that a yellow rubber duck has taken any interest in them. However, you remind yourself that this sector is dedicated to everything not magical and not paranormal or for the plain mundane objects. You take a look over the shoulders of them as you walk by to see the different tests and notes they are recording. Making sure you don't get in there way, you keep yourself at an appropriate distance. 
Nearby is the experimentation labs where they test the latest inventions or even the most recently bought in objects. You can't enter them directly due to the level of clearance, but you know you can observe from the outside. There is also the entrance to the Department of Antiques which controls this sector.
