Coordinator of the Arcane Alynirala

As you walk in a blast of hot sparkling smoke hits you as experiments of potions and elixirs bubbled around. On her desk you can see the coordinator cast a ray of red magic into a purple crystal like a prism. As the enters the crystal, the beam departs it as a white light and into a mirror. It absorbs all the light while creating the sparkling smoke. At your approach she stops and lights two floating blue crystals to the mostly dark room. With only candlelight lighting the pages of a few books, it would be hard to see otherwise.
You know she is a dragon by her reputation and physical appearance. If you had to guess she would be of the ruby variety from the sharp glowing red crystal under her thin robes. Her lizard like appearance fits the description, but she also has ancients runes inscribed upon her body. Whether they hold any meaning is unknown to you, but from their glowing light they must be magical. It's odd that the size of the room is made for humanoids and with her also the size of a humanoid.

You say that it isn't a total lie, but dragons are not known to follow such practices. 

Well I appreciate your interest in my looks. Doubting my physical appeal would be a grave mistake. However, they can be really itchy, so I have to wear certain materials and thicknesses, but when I do it's more of a practical use more than anything.  I wear cloths for the purpose of enchantments. I can improve myself through the meratials I wear which it much safer then using it upon my body.

What about the glyphs?

Darling, those are purely decorative with simples spells of light. They also bring me good luck.

Do don't know how often I get this question. Yes, I have a breath weapon. No, I have no interest in indulging you further. Why don't you ask me something more important.

Don't patronize me, darling! I'll tell you this, I am more magical than the average dragon. My breath is more of an energy then an element. The crystals on my body store magical energy and I can unleash it within my spells and touch. I am a conduit more than anything else.

She is certainly an oddity and a dragon for that matter.
When did you join the Division?

I was invited personally by the Prime Director. Prior to then I had aided the Division on occasion in a... symbiotic relationship. When the D-5 Accident happened, they needed someone who could manage this vast collection of magic tickets and knowledge while also being powerfully beautiful. I was the best choice and by this point as I was already a member, so I made it official in more ways than one. 

What were you before then?

I'm like everyone here, an oddity. For a few centuries I ruled over a nation of simple minded humans, please don't take offense, with my control of magic. Sadly my circle of mages rebelled and banished me to another plane, so I destroyed that reality and move to another one. There I disguised myself as a witch and lived a simple life for a millennium. About that time I met the Division and they weren't pleased with my genocide of a universe, so I was jailed for century before they needed me to help stop someone even more dangerous. I work with our director then and it was a lovely time. I saved a few realites and ended my sentence early. From then on I explore the multiverse until now.

You get a little unsettled for a moment by this possible sociopath. She notices your hint of fear and chuckles lightly.

Now? I thought that I have been clear up to this point. I make sure you don't get killed or discovered in our operations.

How naive... Do you know the amount of time it takes to... No of course you don't. My work is my life and my life is my work. While I may experiment with the arcane, it all for us.

As the coordinator you must have discovered some incredible stuff?

Oh yes! This is how I made it here darling. I developed the concealment enchantments that protect our little home of ours as well as the deals we make. I make breakthroughs in our ability to travel and interact with civilians. Without my work, we would be in the dark ages use clever disguises and old fashioned weaponry.

How far are you willing go?

A curious thought. I assume you mean in my morality? I don't hold myself to those constraints. It limits progress, but even I have a soft spot for life in general. Taking or even risking a life is unproductive. I've met necromancers that used their own body of their own ends. In all their cases, they were consumed by the art they studied. Something I do not wish to happen.
