The Lumbergobs

While traveling the world, at the far Western Roots, the Tiefling Housefang heard a strange sound. Peeking around a corner, he saw and heard something that would not leave him, despite being wholely harmless... Presumably.   "Goblin cut down a big tree.   Goblin strip it of it's shirt.   Goblin use shirt for their gold.   Goblin do it all again.   Goblin cut down a big branch.   Goblin cover self in leaves.   Goblin make Elf fancy clothes.   Goblin do it all again.   Goblin burn down one big tree.   Goblin take the fancy ash.   Goblin sell ash for coin.   Goblin say ash heals the soul.   Goblin dance with their money.   Goblin saw down more big trees.   Goblin go home to their spouse.   Goblin do it all again..."   The song went on seemingly infinitely. All of the Goblins, who were currently sawing down a thick tree, used the song to do a rhythm, despite the song being chaotic and having no rhythm to follow at all.
He would be surprised later when one of the Goblins gave him food for the road, Gold to give to others, and a Dumgar Dagger to defend himself. The Goblin told him to "Not worry; we help all who come around!" before whistling another rhythmless tune.

The Lumbergobs

Since the Goblin race was born out of a wish for chaotic friends, the Lumbergobs work occasionally and aggressively. From their station at the far Western Roots, the Lumbergobs are shockingly effective at their role. They have traded for a lot of Gold, Dumgar, and other rare minerals, which they give to Goblins that wander by. The station itself is tiny, and specifically built for Goblins, so they usually only offer sanctuary to those who seem desperate or if nighttime was about to fall over the Arengold Tree.
The Lumbergobs are led by Toughtooth Ficklespear, a Goblin Matriarch who has successfully taken down every other Hobgoblin, Orc, and other race who tried to take the reins away from her. She is a kind businesswoman, especially to the poor who get near the Lumbergobs camp. She knows, however, that her race is often looked down upon, and aspires to fix their poor representation.

The Arengold Tree is far too thick and durable to cut through. Therefore, most races must look to the far Roots, where there is enough room between the massive roots of the Arengold Tree for other plant life to grow. This takes a long time; trade routes have been formed to ensure that the races closer to the Trunk will get lumber.
While the Lumbergobs take pride in their leaf armor and bark for paper, the Arengold Tree can be infinitely stripped of leaves and bark without much consequence. The Lumbergobs get most of their money and business from lumber, the significantly harder to acquire item.
