The Archives

Information curated by OMNI the Observer.

Hello, all! I am OMNI the Observer, and I am proud to present to you The Archives. The Archives are, well, a storage system for the documenting of a certain dimension that has piqued my interest.   I like to call this dimension 2153, for simplicity’s sake, and because it’s catchy. This dimension (this world, I should say) I am focusing on is currently in the year 2153. The world of 2153 is a diverse and wonderful place. 2153 is an alternate version your own dimension, except gods inhabit the heavens, fantastical races live on every corner of the globe, both on land and under the sea, mythical beasts prowl the forests, supernatural creatures lurk in the night, and benevolent little spirits live along side humanity.
Now, this isn’t an epic fantasy. It is the 22nd century, after all. Side by side, the otherworldly and scientific walk together, their paths intertwining. It’s what you would call “Magipunk”. Towering steel and glass skyscrapers glow with anti-earthquake runes, as well as neon advertisements. Refined magic crystals power homes, vehicles, and everything in between. Ancient temples stand as monument to the gods that still watch from their mounts. Magic users provide useful services, ranging from ordinary plumbing to massive construction projects on the two moons. Ambitious programs to send man into deep space, to explore the universe.   2153 is a beautiful place— but it does have its flaws. With all its prosperity, there is still hardship. War, hate, and terror still sow their terrible seeds, and reap the rotted fruit of their labor. The formerly great USA has been degraded to poverty, inequality, and an authoritarian government by a brutal civil war that has been over for over a century.
War in the Middle East.
Secret dealings in the Russian-Siberian taiga, shielded from the world. Oppressive governments in South America. Nothing is perfect, and 2153 is no exception.
So come with me, and let’s explore the world of 2153. I’m sure it will be quite wonderful.
