Elianore

Elianore, leader of humanity during the Polychrome Crusades, was a fearless and noble ruler. Even in the middle of Throlls terrible campaign she was rumoured to try and seek out the most peaceful resolution to the issue.
It wasnt until the Cataract of Fire destroyed her home and family that she swore she would do everything in her power to defeat Throll, and even then she sought only to destroy him and seek a peace treaty with the other races.
However, in the last great battle of the war, she was offered the opportunity to sacrifice her life to deflect the Diadem of Madness, an enchanted gemstone that Throll had spent years preparing with his unseen patron. Little did she know that giving her life would not only prevent it from affecting the Consortium races, it would in fact reflect it back upon the Shadestained, an effect that she likely would not have wished for.
This fact is often quickly forgotten, as many are quick to revel in the success of Elianores sacrifice and her noble slaughter of the Shadestained races.
To this day, she is celebrated as a hero, with an entire order of knights dedicated to her name.
