There are two unofficial circles within the First Ones. The first circle is of the well known First Ones, those who were more out in the world shaping it as they saw fit. The second circle is the lesser known ones, who may be only known in certain areas, or even at all. There are signifigantly more in the second circle than the first one. There's only a small handful of noteworthy First Ones from the Second Circle.
When forginer's came into the Vale, they brought their religion and belived the First Ones were blastphemors, and so they and those who refused to convert were turned excecuted by being turned to stone.
Public Agenda
The First Ones were mortal, but worshiped like gods and goddesses for their abilities, bravery, and other feats. They were mostly good, with a few First Ones turning an evil leaf. Their overall goal was to maintian the Vale.
History
What Ander Vale Knows
The First Ones were established before the Age of Dawn, before the Vale was Ander Vale and Havenwood was its own city state. The civilization name has been long forgotten, only refered to as The Age of the First Ones. It is believed that the first First One was someone who possessed magic, and taught it to the common people, while others believe that the first First one was a gift from a real God or Goddess. There's no real clear beginning to these, and they're so old that their origin is lost to time.
What Can Be Discovered
The First Ones were established by someone refered to as Ehn, the ancient common word for FIrst. This mysterious figure was an Aasimar sorcerer with a divine soul, blessed by an entity he never understood. Idealistic, he aimed to help people and his strange magics was woshiped and gave him a god-like status. Others that performed similair feats were woshiped as well, and these psuedo gods came together and formed the church of the First Ones.We Are Your Keepers
