The former host of Bej-Amel, restored by the achronological workings of Zurvan's arena on Felis I. Has since boarded The Hedron as the ship's legally mandated Mysterious Passenger.

Maviri's body is covered in symmetrical red-orange tattoos, which form a mix of jagged shapes and odd geometric bands. Most of them are concentrated on spots where it would be extremely painful for a ygerian to receive tattoos - pressure points, the ears and forehead, bands encircling joints, etc.

Special abilities

Thanks to Bej, Maviri is the proud(?) owner of a Tongue 2.0 that can extend unsettlingly far, as well as a subdermal layer of chitinous armor plating.

Personal history

Maviri was a passenger aboard the Star Surveyor vessel Possiltum, which was destroyed under mysterious circumstances shortly before the end of the organization's lifetime.
During the events of the disaster, Maviri was attacked by Rey-Mohlad - Bej's 'sister' - and suffered a traumatic brain injury that left her effectively comatose. Bej was able to keep Maviri's body alive and heal the worst of her injuries, but was unable to completely repair her brain without access to some kind of entropy-reversing paracausal abilities. Enter Zurvan, who was able to easily restore Maviri... and isolate the last remaining particle of Rey.

The name "Maviri" is an archaic title taken from the Book of Yger, where it refers to a precept - a kind of mythological archetype - known as "the Traveler." Historically, the name has been used to denote someone traveling anonymously, or self-applied by someone who wishes to conceal their actual identity.
