Tyndareus the Green

An elderly man with long, wispy, white hair, milky eyes, and a large hooked nose sits in a cozy chair behind the desk.

He's wearing a gray robe with silver and gold embroidments around a large colar, at the end of the his draping sleeves and at the tattered bottom of the robe as well.

He gently nods at you and with a few hand mouvements through the air, you see a set of tea floating around and being poured, just before landing softly into your hands.

"Let me introduce myself, I am Tyndareus the Green, welcome to the Sleeping Obelisk. Chop! Bring our guests some biscuits, would you?"

Painfully the mage stands up, that's when everybody notices the height difference and so does he.

That's why, with his right hand, he starts to pull on the left side of his robe and in a spiral of smoke is reduces himself to a comfortable 3'.

‘When I was a boy, I tasted the most wonderful treat in all the Material Plane. I remember it like it was yesterday. Grammy’s Country Apple Pies… The bakery was near Serine and you could smell the spices all day and night.

Alas, when I went away to see the world, the place was overrun by goblins and no one has dared to go back in since.

I’d like to taste those heavenly pies just once more before I depart for the Celestial Plane. If I give you a map to The bakery' door, can you go in and find Grammy’s secret recipe for me?’”
If the players inquire as to what their reward will be, the wizard informs them that although he has little gold, there will be gold for them at the end, and he tells them that they can keep anything of value they might find in the bakery. All he wants is the recipe.
