Session 5: The Angel and The Rodent

General Summary

in the smoky Locyratus lounge, you met Connor Stoll (Rat) and Alma Aloysius, who offered some information regarding the location of the bikes and the automatons. She told you, somewhat eerily, that Lysander had done a job for someone in exchange for a magical piece of glass. You deduced that this must have been the old man, Alathar Wygardt. You decided to take the a train on the Twilight Railway to the quarter of the city which houses his establishment. In the train station, you witnessed a strange event which resulted in the deaths of dozens of homeless individuals and beggars. Connor helped several of the children back to a stable condition, and Morres gave two children his silver dog badge, courtesy of the wheelies. This was a stark reminder of the grim state of a city overcast by the dark shadow of war. 
You took a train, inside finding several deceased and comatose individuals attached by tubes to empty cannisters of fairytale, upon which you discovered the exact location of the manufacturing plant, belonging to Calico Incorporated, in the north west quarter. 
You spent the night at Madam Morticia’s Mechanical Modifications and met the respective owner. In the morning you set off to Alathar’s. There, you met the man, suspended, as usual, from beams in the ceiling. He complained of a struggling economy and his failing business, but, as neither party was interested in compromise, a fight ensued. Alathar revealed himself to be a sorcerer, but was eventually horrifically killed and stuffed into a barrel. With him safely out of the picture, you investigated the shop, finding five gangly individuals in the rafters, apparently having been enslaved, their tongues cut out, by Alathar. You took them back to Morticia’s, and back at Alathar’s, Morres repaired the bikes, as Lestie made a wooden carving of a rat for Connor.
