Session 36: Murder on the Underwater Express

General Summary

Crouching in the commentator’s booth in Heaven’s Kitchen, an impassioned speech from Ditto convinced Patrician Oshe to cure Hester’s mummy rot. The patrician guided you to the pipes, and you ventured through the trapdoor to the train platform, a dark brutalist relic of times past. As you stepped into the train car, you found yourselves in a cabin of chromium and red leather. You met the conductor, a sinister sun-glassed man, and a few of your fellow passengers, including the entrepreneur Mike, the starlet Gessa and her Agent, the seamstress Eden, the paranoid Leslie, biologist Minnie, mathematician Alan, and businesswoman Petra, as well as the train itself, Larry, who provided you with whatever your heart desired. In accordance with a series of power outages and unmasked secrets, one by one three passengers were murdered. As you investigated the terrible mystery, you discovered a legend of two almost-identical mythical sea monsters, the Loathsome Leviathan and the Gregarious Gargantuan. The Agent, Eva, was eventually forced to reveal herself as a zealot of the Gregarious Gargantuan, who had committed the murders as sacrifices to the entity. She delivered a speech about outside forces and metacommentary, before the Gregarious Gargantuan itself grabbed her, destroying half the train and subsequently crushing Eva, as she screamed triumphantly. In the darkness, the narrative capsule around you now obsolete, the Loathsome Leviathan rescued the party, bringing them safely to a sandy shoreline, proving that the names of the entities were in fact misnomers.
