Session 2: The Snow Globe City

General Summary

After meeting at crossroads on the road to Vathicus, the domed city in the region of Hieron, meeting an eccentric doctor, and battling said doctor, you found yourselves hurtling towards the now-emerging city in the fog. You explored the abode of Professor Gordov. Morres found two metal figures, and after doing some simple restoration, named them Sigma and Phi. Eventually, you made it to the control room of the lumbering home and broke the mechanism. Through various means, including surfing some metal, you made your way to the bottom of the valley in which Vathicus sits, to the moat of grey-green rainwater around it.    You took a steamship belonging to five identical brothers (who asked for tips as payment) and entered the enormous glass dome enclosing the smog-filled city of Vathicus. Inside, you were taken to A Flagon Full, where you met Merriweather, a spotty teenage chainsmoker and member of the Wheelies, Estelle Trent’s gang, represented by a dog’s head on the breast pocket. You made a deal with Merriweather, to give the gang your supplies of fairytale, found in Gordov’s house. You met the leader of the Wheelies, Estelle Trent, who was perfectly polite and lovely and definitely not someone with ulterior motives. You visited Peddlers, where Lestie bought a cheap but very loud motorcycle.    You then searched for Alathar Wygardt, a distant friend of Morres’, a man suspended from his ceiling by metal wires. He told you about his niece, who used to do his chores. You bought some things from him, including an iron rose and some mechanical eyes. Alathar then gave you a mission, to deliver a parcel to an Ophelia Loren. Asking around, you discovered that the woman had been dead for 100 years. You then visited a nearby church’s crypt, where you met the nihilistic Brother Augustin, who warned you of a headless ghost beneath the church. You investigated the crypt, fought some skeletons, and eventually bumped into a certain casket in the wall, with a plaque reading ‘Ophelia Loren’. Opening the casket, you found the head of a young woman. Turning around, you saw a headless spectral figure, dressed all in white.
