Session 1: The Crow and the Crossroads
General Summary
The party was brought together by something like fate, on the Corinus crossroads to Vathicus, the largest city in the region of Hieron. Approaching a tower in the middle of the crossroads, you met a young girl claiming to be Ilius Yoren, the guard stationed there to prevent travellers walking the road to Vathicus without identity papers. You were invited to stay the night on the condition that you left in the morning. It was revealed that Ilius was actually the girl’s sickly father. Morres and Lestie had some bonding time, and Crowley slept outside.
Before leaving, you learned of Professor Gordov; an eccentric professor who could potentially get you into the city without your papers. You located Professor Gordov in his howl’s moving castle-like home. Morres got his hands on a makeshift harpoon gun, and you fought some members of the Ero Atticka, who the Professor admitted were after him. Under the ruse of healing you, the eccentric professor drugged Morres and Lestie, leaving the very unhelpful Crowley conscious.
Taking the drug fairytale, you took a short trip to the dreamworld, where you met a young man named Jericho who claimed to be witnessing the death of the universe. Crowley managed to get Lestie free from one of the machines, but not before he would be knocked out. Lestie fought Professor Gordov, cut the pipe binding Morres to his machine, and eventually, by opening a couple of windows, drove the drug out of the building. Crowley gained a crow, he named Crow-ley. You found several credits around the house, as, over the hill approached the Vathicus, a great glass-domed city filled with smoggy buildings and surrounded by a moat of rainwater.
