Etheolish

The tongue spoken the inhabitants of Etheoland. It has splintered into many smaller dialects that refuse to conform to any kind of understandable rules despite the best efforts of Whitemount scholars. It relies heavily on metaphor, has no discernible rules of pronunciation or even grammar and is the only language to have given rise to an arhythmic rhyming slang. People seemingly throw words together in whatever order seems like a good idea at the time. In spite of all this, there is somehow an inherent musicality to it. Despite what you may think, the language works but only as long as you don't try to understand how. This infuriates linguists who will usually leave the room at a run if asked to talk about Etheolish. The scholars of Trossania find it particularly outrageous and have officially designated the entire Etheolish language as poetry. Since this classification was made official, the suicide rate among Trossanian Linguists has dropped significantly.
