Personal history
Rangi was born in a time of turmoil. Even during his childhood, talks of rebellion were common. However, Rangi grew up on Earth, where Imperial sympathy was strongest. He grew up believing in the Empire and the doctrine the Empire followed.
His brother left when Rangi was 4, and his mother died when Rangi was just 8. He grew up in a military academy, and volunteered for the experimental 529th legion. When Rangi was 12, he began the experimental genetic modifications that would make him a supersoldier.
When Rangi was training, he met his future best friend and lover Korelian Rain. They trained together, and were shipped out together after Fort Silver was Fired Upon.

Education
Rangi spent the better part of his childhood training to be a soldier. As such, he is an expert in military strategy, tactics, and the piloting of various craft and ground vehicles. He has an IQ of over 150, and is regarded as one of the greatest military minds in the 3rd millenium.
When he was accpeted into the Military Academy of New York, he was given a stellar education using some of the most powerful teaching software of the time. He learned history, mastered Warp Physics, and was well versed in the poetry and music of Felicity Phan.
As was expected for soldiers, he learned how to play an insturment, as playing and instrument was considered good for training a person for dedication and precision. He mastered the Violin, and was know to practice it for hours on end during his stays on Earth.
Rangi trained with Hybrid and Plasma Weaponry his whole life. He gained sniper classification due to his excellent marksmanship abilities, and became a Sniper Second Class.
Employment
Rangi was deployed on June 8th to Saltu, a planet in the core of the Milky Way where Gang was common. He fought there until the conclusion of the first battle of Saltu in 2505. The brutal war on Saltu saw Rangi have many Adventures and Misadventures.
After the First Battle of Saltu, Rangi was promoted to Captain of the entire 529th Legion. With this position, he ordered a campaign into Rebel Strongholds, and succesfully captured Chuan and Kasshyn, both important Rebel Strongholds. These captures thrust the 529th into the limelight, and Rangi was chosen as the posterboy of the war.
Shortly after the capture of Chuan, the 127th leigon was surrounded by Rebel forces and under siege in what would be known as the Battle of Isthmus IV. Rangi and company made landings on Bluff Peak and Itan Caves. They then pushed towards Isthmus Fort to relieve the siege. The Leigon, though relatively small, managed to break through enemy lines and succesfully rescue the 127th.
During the 509th annual January 3rd parade that celebrated the founding of the Empire, Rebel Forces made a surprise attack on Earth. They attempted to kidnap the Chancellor of Earth, the leader of the United Ender Empire. Rangi and Korelian managed to stop the attempted kidnapping, though Korelian sutained injuries that forced him to retire from active duty.
Rangi soon encountered his brother an nemesis Lunis Nightwood, a Rebel Commando with access to the Thanatos Armor. they battled on several occasions. Notable duels include Rangi's first meeting with Lunis, where he obtained one of Lunis's plasma swords. On annother occasion, Rangi went rouge, hunting down his brother, whcih resulted in Lunis's death.
After first contact with the Parvus Empire, Rangi led the entire decades long war leading several missions himself, and retired after the Treaty of Paris V. Some adventures include a solo mission to asassinate the leader of the Parvus Empire, and a time where he and his vessel crash landed on an unnamed ice planet. They were forced to battle for survival agianst both the Parvus and the natural threats of the planet before they were rescued by the Empire.
Rangi retired in 2543, shortly after the Megenia Treaty.
